Refund policy

At KOVA Offroad, we sell premium off-road products that are often vehicle-specific, freight shipped, and manufacturer-direct. Because of this, customers are responsible for confirming vehicle fitment prior to placing an order.

If you have questions before purchasing, we are happy to assist.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return:

• Return request must be submitted within 14 days of delivery

• Item must be unused, uninstalled, and in new condition

• Original packaging, hardware, and documentation must be included

• Return Authorization (RA) must be approved in advance

Returns must be received within 30 days of delivery.

Items returned without authorization will be refused.

Refused deliveries for any reason other than documented freight damage at the time of delivery will be treated as standard returns and subject to applicable restocking and return freight charges.

Installed items are not eligible for return.

Restocking Fees

Restocking fees are determined by the manufacturer and product category and apply as follows:

• Standard items: 15% restocking fee

• Large freight items (bumpers, racks, sliders, armor): 20% restocking fee

• Special order / made-to-order items: 25% restocking fee

Restocking fees are deducted from the refund total.

Return Shipping Responsibility

Customer is responsible for:

• All return shipping costs

• Proper packaging

• Shipping insurance and tracking

Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable.

If your order qualified for free shipping, the actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

Freight return shipping may range from $300–$700+ depending on item size and location.

Condition of Returned Items

Returned items must be:

• Unused

• Uninstalled

• Free of scratches, powder coat damage, or modification

• In original packaging

• Complete with all hardware and components

Items returned with missing hardware, damaged packaging, or incomplete components may be subject to additional deductions or denial of return.

If an item is returned in unsellable condition:

• Return may be denied

• Up to an additional 25% reconditioning fee may apply

Partial returns of bundled or kit items are not permitted unless approved in writing.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective:

• Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

• Provide photos of packaging and product

If damage occurred during freight delivery, documentation must have been noted at the time of delivery (see Shipping Policy).

If confirmed defective under the applicable manufacturer’s written warranty terms:

• Replacement will be issued when available

• Manufacturer warranty terms apply

Refunds are only issued if replacement is unavailable.

Items altered, modified, or damaged due to improper installation are not eligible for warranty return.

Items Ordered in Error

Customers are responsible for verifying vehicle fitment prior to purchase.

If an item was ordered in error:

• Item must be unused and uninstalled

• Restocking fees apply

• Return shipping is customer responsibility

• Outbound shipping will be deducted

Refunds will not be issued for items that show signs of installation, wear, or modification.

Non-Returnable Items

The following are final sale and not eligible for return:

• Special order / made-to-order products

• Custom powder-coated items

• Clearance or “Garage Sale” items

• Group buys

• Opened electrical components

• Software or digital products

• Items marked Final Sale

Unless confirmed defective under manufacturer warranty terms.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund.

After 48 hours:

• Manufacturer processing fees may apply

• Special order items cannot be canceled once production begins

• 3rd party vendor items may incur cancellation fees up to 20%

Once an order has shipped, it must follow the return process.

Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges.

To exchange an item:

  1. Initiate a return

  2. Place a new order

Refund will be issued once the return is received and approved.

Refund Processing

Once the returned item is received and inspected:

• Processing may take 7–10 business days

• Refund will be issued to the original payment method

• Bank processing times vary

Refunds will be issued for the product purchase price minus applicable restocking fees, outbound shipping charges, return shipping costs (if applicable), and any reconditioning fees.

Refund amounts will be calculated based on the original purchase price listed on the order confirmation.

You will receive email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

Limitation of Liability

KOVA Offroad is not responsible for:

• Installation costs

• Labor charges

• Vehicle damage

• Downtime

• Incidental or consequential damages

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting KOVA Offroad to resolve the issue may result in denial of future purchases and submission of documentation to the payment processor, including this published policy and order confirmation records.

We are committed to resolving issues directly and encourage customers to contact us before filing a dispute.

To request a Return Authorization:

• Order number

• Full name

• Reason for return

• Photos if applicable

Return instructions will be provided after approval.
