Built for the ARB RD259 Air Locker Differential for Ram 1500 (2012-2021) – Rear Axle, Steel Construction, this ARB component delivers rugged durability, precise fitment, and trail-ready performance. Engineered for serious off-road use while maintaining everyday drivability.
The ARB RD259 Air Locker Differential is the ultimate traction aid designed to enhance off-road performance and vehicle control. Engineered by ARB, a leader in 4x4 accessories, this differential provides instant locking with the flick of a switch, allowing you to navigate the toughest terrains with confidence. Its pneumatically operated locking system engages quickly, preventing the internal gears from rotating independently and ensuring maximum traction on demand. This feature is especially valuable when traversing challenging obstacles or loose surfaces where traditional differentials may struggle, giving your Ram 1500 superior grip and stability.
Constructed from durable steel, the ARB RD259 is built to withstand harsh conditions and heavy use. It fits rear axles with a 9.25-inch ZF axle, a 1.35-inch shaft, and a 31-spline configuration, compatible with all gear ratios. The design allows activation at any speed, making it suitable for various off-road scenarios without compromising on-road drivability. When disengaged, the differential operates as a conventional open unit, maintaining normal vehicle handling and minimizing driveline wear. This versatility allows you to switch between highway and off-road driving seamlessly, optimizing safety and performance.
Installation is straightforward for compatible Ram 1500 models from 2012 through 2021, ensuring a reliable upgrade that enhances traction and vehicle control. The ARB Air Locker Differential not only improves off-road capability but also helps reduce vehicle damage and environmental impact by providing better control and traction, especially in adverse conditions. Its silver finish complements your vehicle’s look and offers long-lasting durability, making it a dependable choice for serious off-road enthusiasts and daily drivers alike.
