Take the hassle out of manual winch operation with the Carbon Offroad Air Freespool Clutch Upgrade. This upgrade replaces the standard manual freespool lever on your Carbon 12K and Scout Pro winches with an air-actuated clutch system.
With the push of a button, you can quickly engage or disengage your winch drum. No more leaning over bull bars, climbing under bumpers, or struggling in the mud. By integrating directly into your onboard air system, this upgrade makes recovery faster, easier, and easier to control.

Installation Notes:
You’ll need to supply your own switch and wiring, as every setup is different and cannot be universally accounted for.

To install, simply remove the factory gear handle using a 3mm Allen key and a shifter, then fit the air clutch kit in its place.

Returns & Exchanges:
- A 25% Damage Fee will be charged if items arrive damaged.
- All returns must be authorized within 14 days after delivery.
- Returns/Exchanges are accepted only if initiated within 15 days of the original invoice date.
- Products must be repacked in original packaging and in new, sellable condition.
- Shipping is non-refundable. Free shipping items will have standard shipping fees deducted from the refund.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- Refunds processed only after inspection (may take up to 14 days).
- Allow 7-10 days after inspection for refund to appear on your account.

Defective Items:
- Report defective items within 30 days for warranty claims.
- KOVA OFFROAD covers shipping if item is defective.
- If item is not defective, customer pays return shipping.
Order Cancellations & Changes:
- Orders can be canceled or changed within 72 hours of placing the order.
- 3rd party vendor items (lights, shocks, etc.) may carry a 20% change/cancellation fee after 72 hours.
