The Factor 55 Flat Splicer is a revolutionary splice-on folding winch rope shackle mount designed for optimal vehicle recovery setups. With integrated EPDM rubber pads, this mount comfortably accommodates the pin and bow sections of common 3/4 inch shackles, as well as the pin ends of larger 7/8 inch shackles, providing versatility for different recovery gear setups. The ability to route the rope exit at 90 degrees along the inner radius enhances the ease of use and reduces stress on the synthetic rope, thereby extending its service life. This feature ensures the rope can exit the middle of the mount and be stowed efficiently, preventing UV exposure and impact damage while maintaining the vehicle’s approach angle.
