The Factor 55 Flat Splicer is an innovative solution designed for synthetic winch ropes, offering a compact and protective shackle mount that minimizes vehicle frontal protrusion. Crafted from durable 6061 aluminum and finished with a powdercoat in vibrant orange, this splice-on shackle mount provides a secure and efficient way to connect synthetic winch lines while safeguarding the rope end from UV damage and impact. Its low-profile design, just under 2 inches thick, allows it to fold flat against winch fairleads, maintaining your vehicle's approach angle without sacrificing strength or accessibility. The integrated EPDM rubber pads help absorb shock and prevent abrasion, ensuring longevity and reliable performance during demanding recovery operations. Equipped to accommodate common 3/4-inch shackles and larger 7/8-inch shackles at the pin ends, the Flat Splicer offers versatility for various recovery setups. The innovative routing capability enables the spliced rope to exit centrally and bend at 90 degrees, simplifying installation and operation. Because of its splice-on design, proper synthetic rope splicing knowledge is required, with recommended techniques including the locking Brummel or Long Bury Splice. The working load limit correlates with the rope diameter used, maintaining full strength and safety standards. Returns & Exchanges:
- A 25% Damage Fee will be charged if items arrive damaged.
