SPLICER XTV 3/16-1/4" SYNTHETIC ROPE SPLICE-ON SHACKLE MOUNT -- ORANGE

The Factor 55 Splicer XTV is a specialized splice-on shackle mount designed for UTV and ATV winches, crafted from durable 6061 aluminum and finished in a vibrant orange powdercoat. This innovative component features a machined rope passage that provides superior protection against impact, abrasion, and UV exposure, ensuring the integrity of synthetic winch lines during demanding off-road activities. The integrated rubber pad adds an extra layer of protection, reducing wear and extending the lifespan of your synthetic rope.
Designed to be used with synthetic ropes ranging from 3/16 to 1/4 inch in diameter, the Splicer XTV requires knowledge of proper splicing techniques, such as the locking Brummel splice or Long Bury splice, to ensure safe and effective installation. Due to its splice-on design, the working load limit (WLL) varies with the rope diameter, so it is essential to select the appropriate splice and rope combination to achieve optimal strength. This mounting solution exceeds minimum bend radius requirements, enabling full breaking strength of the synthetic lines used, making it a reliable choice for off-road recovery and winching applications.
The lightweight yet robust construction makes the Splicer XTV easy to install while maintaining high strength and durability standards. Its bright orange finish enhances visibility and adds a touch of style to your vehicle's recovery gear. Whether for recreational off-roading or professional use, this shackle mount provides a secure, protected attachment point that maximizes the performance and safety of your synthetic winch line setup. Proper splicing and installation are crucial for leveraging its full capabilities, and it is recommended to consult expert guidance if unfamiliar with synthetic rope splicing techniques.
