The Factor 55 Ultrahook XTV Winch Hook with Shackle Mount in green offers a high-performance solution for off-road enthusiasts and racers. Designed with a low-profile profile, this hook combines the convenience of a hook with the safety features of a closed system winching device. Its innovative design includes an industry-first shackle mount hole machined directly into the hook's body, allowing for quick and secure attachment using common screw pins for 1/2 inch and 5/8 inch shackles or soft shackles up to 7/16 inch. This feature simplifies installation and enhances operational efficiency in demanding off-road conditions. Constructed from durable 6061 aluminum and finished with a powdercoat, the Ultrahook XTV is built to withstand harsh environments while maintaining a lightweight profile. The hook’s safety latch is securely housed in a machined pocket and includes an integrated secondary locking feature, ensuring reliable engagement during winching operations. The latch locking pin is conveniently stored within the hook body and can be inserted into the tip to lock the latch in place, providing added security during use. Additional features such as EPDM rubber pads protect fairleads from abrasion, and the finger grip design promotes proper hook-up orientation, reducing user error and increasing safety. The Ultrahook XTV’s tubing diameter is approximately 0.38 inches, making it suitable for a variety of winching setups.
