The kit features Skyjacker’s innovative 2-stage dual rate long travel coils that progress from a flexible first stage to a more supportive second ride stage. The first Flex Rate stage ensures a comfortable ride during normal driving and expands during full articulation for maximum tire contact with uneven terrain. The second Ride Rate engages after significant compression, providing added stability and control under heavy loads or towing conditions. Specifically designed for the Gladiator, the rear coils are built with a higher, stronger second Ride Rate to handle additional weight from overlanding or cargo. The installation includes longer replacement front lower control link arms with pressed-in OEM-style rubber bushings, optimized to improve tire clearance and steering response.
Additional components such as the adjustable front track bar, shock extension relocation brackets, and bump stop spacers ensure proper suspension geometry and ride quality. Front and rear shock extension brackets reposition factory shocks to accommodate increased ride height, while bump stop spacers prevent over-compression during aggressive articulation. Extended sway bar end links facilitate full suspension droop, maintaining stability and articulation at all times. All hardware, including the heavy-duty rod ends, are designed for durability and corrosion resistance, ensuring long-lasting performance.
