Sun Visor Airbag Label Overlays - 2025+ 4Runner

About These Overlays

The factory airbag warning labels on the 2025+ 4Runner sun visors are functional — but they're not exactly something you want staring at you every drive. These overlays cover them cleanly with a design that looks intentional instead of slapped on.

Because the sun visor is cloth (not hard plastic), these were cut to very tight dimensions — just enough to cover the label without any vinyl overhanging onto the fabric. Overhang = peeling edges in heat. We already solved that problem for you.

What's included:

Installation

A wet install is required for these overlays due to the tight fit on the cloth visor surface.

You'll need:

• StickerFab Application Fluid or 1 drop of dish soap in 1 cup of water
• Credit card or felt tip squeegee
• Clean microfiber cloth

Steps:

1. Clean the label area thoroughly — no dust, dirt, or Armor All residue
2. Make sure the surface is completely dry before starting
3. Work in the shade at 75–85°F — use your AC or heater to hit the right temp
4. Wet the back of the vinyl with application fluid so you can reposition it
5. Align carefully — these are cut close to label size, so precision matters
6. Use a credit card or squeegee to push out air and fluid from center outward
7. Allow to dry fully before closing the visor

Note: Removal of these overlays may take the factory airbag sticker with it depending on the age of the visor and sun exposure.

Do I need to remove the factory label first?
No — these are overlays, not replacements. They go directly on top of the existing label.

Why do these require a wet install?
The tight dimensions leave very little margin for repositioning. Application fluid lets you slide the vinyl into place before it bonds, which is critical on cloth surfaces where you only get one shot.

Will these peel up at the edges?
Not if installed correctly. These were cut to label size specifically so no vinyl overhangs onto the cloth visor. Overhang causes edge lifting — the tight fit prevents it.

Can I remove them later?
Yes, but removal may take the factory airbag label with it depending on sun exposure and visor age. Factor that in before installing.

Why does Matte Black come with an extra set?
Matte Black is not air egress vinyl like the other styles, so it's slightly less forgiving during install. The extra set is there if you need a redo.

Does this fit both 2-door and 4-door 4Runners?
Yes — fits all 2025+ Toyota 4Runner configurations.
