Built for the TAC 4x4 Soft Shackle, this Carbon Offroad USA component delivers rugged durability, precise fitment, and trail-ready performance. Engineered for serious off-road use while maintaining everyday drivability.
An 18000kg (39683lbs) rated soft shackle constructed from genuine Spectra® Fiber with a 650mm (25") extended reach.
Most 4WDers carry steel shackles because it is how things have always been done. But steel is heavy. It sinks in the mud. If a recovery point fails, that metal becomes a high velocity danger. The Carbon 650mm Soft Shackle greatly reduces that risk. You get 18000kg (39683lbs) breaking strength in a package that weighs almost nothing and floats in water.
The Extra Reach Advantage: At 650mm (25"), this is not your standard stubby shackle. It is engineered for the hard recoveries. It wraps around bulky recovery points where standard gear just will not fit. When the tide is coming in or the mud is waist deep, you do not want to be fumbling with a rusted steel pin. You want speed and you want safety.
Features
-
Genuine Spectra® Fiber Core: Aerospace grade strength to weight ratio. This is the gold standard for high tension recovery. It is designed to handle the massive 18000kg (39683lbs) loads of a bogged 4x4 without breaking a sweat.
-
Braided Sheath: We did not leave the core exposed. The tight braided outer layer protects against rock abrasion, sand ingress, and UV degradation. The core stays protected so your gear stays reliable for years instead of months.
-
Tactical Finish: Finished in Black and Olive drab. We build gear for people who value performance and utility over shiny, chrome plated toys that fail when the tracks get nasty.
-
Zero Fumble Design: No pins to lose in the mud. No threads to seize. Absolutely no tools required. It is a faster and more intelligent way to rig your recovery gear.
