Built for the TrailFX TFX8001 Hard Folding Tonneau Cover for Ford F-150 (2021-2026) - Low Profile Aluminum Bed Cover, this TrailFX component delivers rugged durability, precise fitment, and trail-ready performance. Engineered for serious off-road use while maintaining everyday drivability.
The TrailFX TFX8001 Hard Folding Tonneau Cover offers a versatile and durable solution for truck owners seeking reliable bed protection. Crafted from three aircraft-grade textured aluminum panels, this low profile cover combines strength with a sleek appearance, finished in a semi-gloss black coating. Designed specifically for Ford F-150 models from 2021 through 2026, it installs easily with a clamp-on system that requires no drilling, taking approximately one hour to complete. Its inside rail mounting keeps the profile low, enhancing the truck's aesthetic while providing secure cargo storage.
This tonneau cover features a fold-up operation with three panels, allowing quick access to the truck bed. The front hinge design enables the entire cover to be flipped up when folded, facilitating full bed access. Locking is achieved via a tailgate handle lock, which automatically secures the contents and integrates seamlessly with the vehicle's OEM tailgate lock for added security. Rubber perimeter seals ensure cargo stays dry and protected from the elements, while the cover's textured surface minimizes glare and reduces scratches.
Additional features include heavy-duty aluminum construction for enhanced durability, a black semi-gloss finish for a refined look, and the absence of support battens to maintain a clean appearance. The cover is paintable if customization is desired, although it is not compatible with ladder racks, headache racks, or toolboxes. Supported by a three-year limited warranty, the TrailFX TFX8001 tonneau cover is an excellent choice for those looking to combine style, security, and functionality in their truck bed.
