This kit features premium Falcon 1.1 Monotube shocks that deliver improved ride quality and handling, providing a smoother driving experience over stock suspension systems. It is compatible with models excluding Trail Boss, ZR2, and AT4/AT4X variants, and is intended for trucks with traditional steel leaf springs, not compatible with adaptive or multi-matic suspension systems.
The kit includes robust boxed steel front and rear cross members along with a 3/16-inch plate steel skid plate, ensuring durability and protection for the vehicle’s undercarriage. Differential drop brackets with double gusset reinforcement and a center rib are incorporated to resist torsional forces and maintain proper alignment, contributing to vehicle stability during aggressive driving. The top mount strut extensions are specially angled and offset to optimize shock performance, reduce wear, and preserve factory geometry, while a lower mount pre-load spacer increases spring rate for accommodating larger wheels and tires.
Rear lift is achieved with 5-inch fabricated steel blocks featuring bump stop landings, paired with Falcon 1.1 monotube shocks for consistent damping and ride quality. The maximum tire size supported by this lift kit is 35 inches, with options for different wheel offsets and minor trimming required for certain configurations. Trimming includes adjustments to the front valance, felt liner edges, and mud flaps to ensure clearance and proper fitment. Installation is complex and generally requires professional expertise, with an estimated time of over 5 hours.
